Third place. Ah...I can't help but feel childish.... (slightly and stupidly disappointed) But I want to congratulate everyone. The folks who got 1st place deserved it, all right.
But I was free the moment I stepped out into the breezy night--I truly felt free, relinquished at last, though it wasn't the way I had expected. But all that matters is that I was freed under the starry night sky. The burden only felt lifted at that moment, yet something still lingers in me--maybe the undying anxiety of tests and unfinished work to do.
